Cancellations
If you need to alter or cancel a booking then please give as much notice as possible, late cancellations often lead to a loss of business for us and as such cancellations or alterations within 7 days or 'no shows' with be charged at the full studio rate.
Bookings
Unless otherwise agreed bookings need to be made by an individual who will be financially responsible for the booking.
Initial bookings will be held for 7 days to allow the client to pay a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the entire fee, on receipt of which the booking will be confirmed. If no deposit is received within 7 days the time reserved will become available to other clients.
Payment.
Full payment will be required before any files or mixes can leave the studio unless otherwise negotiated before the session.
Mixing
Due to the silence and concentration required for release quality mixing we strongly urge bands to allow us to mix unattended, in return we will make any mix changes requested free of charge in a tweak session, this can often be done via email. Any further changes will continue at the current studio rate.
Data
All data will be kept for 60 days from the end of the session to allow time for changes or continued work. After this date the data will no longer be our responsibility and will be either deleted or archived. If clients wish to have a copy of the session files then we recommend bringing a data storage device with you. Rates for data copies will vary depending on requirements so please discuss this with the studio.
All terms and conditions are at the discretion of Ford Lane Studios, if any do not meet your needs then please call to discuss as reasonable exceptions may be made.
Cancellations within 48 hours of the start of the booking or no shows will be liable for the full cost of the booking.
Drummers will need to bring snare drum, kick pedal and cymbals. Basic equipment to cover most band scenarios are provided, any additional equipment needed must be provided by the band. Please check our rehearsal page for more info.
