The studio was first converted from an old dairy in 1996, it became two studios - Studio 1 was owned and run by John Harris who started Pink Dog studios in the late eighties, studio 2 was owned and run by Nick Smith, an engineer from Pink Dog.
In 1998 Rob Quickenden joined as an assistant in Studio 1.
In 2000 John Harris sadly passed away and after a year or two Nick moved on and Rob Quickenden was asked to become resident engineer, a post he still holds today.
In 2009 Rob Quickenden bought the business.
After several years as a long term let for various producers, studio 2 merged with studio 1 to create an additional recording space and second rehearsal room.
In 2013 Joe Dennis came on board as a Freelance Engineer, joined the following year by Ryan Gorringe.
